Thanks to its convenient location (on the main road and rail line from Madrid) it is easy to reach Cordoba from the international airports of Seville, Malaga and Madrid. The high speed train (AVE) gets you here from Madrid (400 km.) in 1 hour 40 minutes, from Seville (130 km.) in only 40 minutes and from Malaga (180 km) in only 55 minutes. Cordoba is a beautiful, medium-sized city (350,000 inhabitants). It is peaceful and safe, and has a lot to offer: a variety of cultural events, both traditional and modern amenities, its world-famous monuments and its warm, sunny climate. It has been declared a world heritage city by UNESCO.

 

 

 

During their time studying with us, our students will visit many world-famous museums and monuments such as ‘La Mezquita’, the Alcazar and Medina Azahara. Cordoba is also an ideal place for a first contact with Spain and its cultural heritage. There are interesting and beautiful walks, such as through the Jewish quarter (“La Judería”), or visiting a number Romanesque or Gothic churches dotted around the city.
